Literature Text

Listen for
great bear's
starlit gaze,
echoing with
untamed intent;
feel fierce eyes
penetrate shadows
to behold
the unrevealed
unspoken.

Smell whispers
lingering
in unnoticed
locations, neglected
jurisdictions, stories
aching to swim
on dancing tongues
of revelation.

Enter in: grasp
fingers of glacial
fire; taste
the dry river's
flow; dance the
silent rhythms of
stillness.

Embrace your
given contradictions
with trust in
what must
unfold, with faith
for what will
grow.
This poem came about rather quickly, especially given how long it's been since I've seriously attempted to write anything new. There are a lot of layers of meaning that went into the thoughts which came out here, a lot of which have to do with digging in to some confusing and dark places within myself, and anticipating doing more of that in the days ahead.

Very well written, I like the short lines they really make the poem easy to read and they pull the thoughts together in one stream! Very cool!
